Fr. Matthew Phelan, O.deM.​

Fr. Matthew Phelan is the Vicar Provincial of the Order and the Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Philadelphia, PA. He was born and raised in Wisconsin, and has been a Mercedarian priest since 2002.​ Father Matthew became pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in January of 2022 and the Vicar of the Order. The foudation is blessed to have Father as our spiritual leader, as he is also greatly responsible for founding SRNF in 2015 with other friars.  Keep an eye out for future endeavors including Father Matthew as he is gifted not only as a spiritual father but also with technology and video production.
