What did Our Lord do for us Calvary? Since the fall, humanity was held "captive" by sin and death. On our own, we could not overcome the evils of the world and ... when things get brutal ... we are all in danger of losing our faith.
But out of love for us, God took on flesh and gave "his life for our freedom," and we celebrate that joyous act of love at every Mass.
