Meet Our Founders: The Mercedarian Religious Order
The St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation for Freedom, Family, and Faith is grateful to the Mercedarian Religious Order for founding our non-profit 501C3 in 2015. The order has a rich history of over 800 years which began near Barcelona, Spain in the year 1218. The Mercedarian's charism is simple "my life for your freedom". The friars live their lives in prayer and in sacrifice for the salvation of others by being willing to give their lives for those who "in danger of losing their faith".
