Fr. Justin Freeman, O.de M.
Board Member/Pastoral Consultation Priest

Father Justin is the Parochial Vicar at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Overbrook, Philadelphia, PA. He was previously the Catholic chaplain assigned to MetroHealth by the Diocese of Cleveland to minister to the spiritual and sacramental needs of Catholic patients, families, and staff. He entered the Mercedarian Friars in 2004 and was ordained a priest in 2010. Before entering the seminary, he interned for the Social Security Administration and the Republican National Committee and worked for a prominent lobbying firm in Washington, DC. Father Freeman earned three masters’ degrees in divinity, theology, and political philosophy.

He previously served as a chaplain of MetroHealth for five years and parishes in the dioceses of Buffalo and Saint Petersburg.

Born and raised in Virginia, Father Freeman is the son of a firefighter and a nurse. In his free time, he enjoys reading and traveling.
